“Until recently, I never thought much about recycling. Once I realized that picking up trash requires no special talent, I decided to make cleaning beaches in the Dominican Republic a priority. The struggle was the budget, finding resources needed, and looking for sponsors and people to help clean up. I am grateful to everyone who made the recycle project a success. You can start, too – even by picking up small pieces of trash. Small actions help keep our communities beautiful.”
